This recipe turned out better than expected and I’m a huge fan! If you like BBQ, TRY IT OUT! You could definitely use chicken too, but I’m a fan of the real thing! Enjoy & let me know if you make it!
-1.5 lbs pork loin
-12 oz bottle bbq sauce (I used this one)
-1 yellow onion, diced
-2 garlic cloves, minced
-1 tbsp paprika
-2 tsp sea salt
-1 tsp black pepper
-1/4 cup water, for more liquid if desired! (I didn’t use it)
This recipe is the easiest ever, because all you have to do is through all those ingredients in a crockpot, and cook on high for about 5-6 hours. Or you could do low for 8-10 hours. Once cooked, the pork should shred with 2 forks very easily! It’s ready to enjoy.
-1 9oz package cabbage slaw (I got mine from trader joe’s)
-1/2 cup avocado oil mayo (I used this one)
-1 tbsp dijon mustard
-1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
-1 tsp onion powder
-1/2 tsp sea salt
Again, SO SIMPLE. Throw everything in a bowl and mix it together. Done & done. I made it about 2 hours before dinner so the flavors could marinate together and it was even better the next day!
I served mine on a whole wheat bun with green leaf lettuce & some hot sauce! I also made it into a salad with some sweet potato fries. Enjoy!
